High School Scholarship Applications

All graduating students, regardless of gender, within the Saranac Lake Central School district geographic area are eligible to apply!

We recommend students who are homeschooled or attend Northwoods to pick up an application at the Saranac Lake Free Library.

For graduating students attending SLHS, apply through the Saranac Lake High School Guidance Office. Instructions below from the Guidance Office:

• Make sure you turn all your applications in to your school counselor. They will forward your applications on to the appropriate organization or person.

• When you have determined which scholarships you would like to apply for and which applications you will need, come to the guidance suite to pick up the appropriate applications.

• Please pay close attention to scholarship deadlines and be sure to include any supportive documentation when required. Fill the application out completely and neatly using blue or black ink. Doing so will increase your chances of winning a scholarship.

• REMINDER- All students should have already filed the FAFSA and if not, you should do so ASAP. Some money is first come first serve. Additional information is available on the guidance website under “Financial Aid."
